LOW TIDE - Although this
can be the most fickle time to surf, low tide under the right conditions
can be the best time to surf. Once the swell is shoulder high at [splash]
you can start thinking about surfing it just after low. If its a
spring low with 4ft of swell [stinkies]
will be the first of the low tide reefs to break. If your lucky
enough to experience 6ft+ with light winds your options suddenly
increase. Waves can begin to break all over the [reefs]
to the north and south of stOuen's bay.
You can also surf on the [North Coast]
on big swells when stOuen is blown out.
